Three Years Ago

This Sunday our friends are speaking in church. They are going to serve a mission in Mozambique. I thought they would probably be going to Africa! They are the parents of Bryce's best friend. We are going to miss them. I know they will be a great blessing to a country that Bryce loved. It just seems strange that it has been 3 years since Bryce came home. He was frustrated that he couldn't find a job but was excited to go snowboarding and kept wishing it would snow. He always wanted it to snow...even in the summer. It is pretty amazing that he was sent somewhere with no snow for two years. He survived...just barely. He found a part time job and worked hard to get in shape for snowboarding. I just wanted to mark this time because I always think about how nice it was to have him home and to see how much he learned and matured on his mission.
Africa Bound...we are sure going to miss them!

Just Arrived and Named....

Just a few hours old and making cute faces already!
Welcome to Winston Bryce.  It is so fun to have our grandchildren sharing names with Bryce.   At the beginning of the year, Spencer Kim was born.  Bryce was the only one in our family with the middle name of Kim.  Now Spencer shares it with him and his grandpa.
I think Bryce would call Winston  " Little China Man".   Trust me...I know.   I also think Bryce is very familiar with this sweet new member of our family.  I hope he was nice to him....no chubby bunnys or jumping on his back.
